Actually finished them up the same day. I ended up just spraying them with some flat black rustoleum primer and some ACE hardware rust beater paint. I also filled the inside with the expandable foam. That experiment quickly got out of hand and I didn't get any pics of the foam...just say I used a little to much....After all the clean up they turned out awesome! the texture of the paint looks just like the stock setup.

This was a pretty simple job just got to watch how much of the expandable foam you put in.

Is the top coming off a side effect of the slider rehab? ;)

Hey Benny, was the spray foam for keeping mud/water out or for sound absorption?

Basicly the foam is used to keep the water and gunk from filling up inside the tube. Get rid of the air and water then no rust.
