It's been about two years now since I started the RRC rolling *budget* "refresh" (not a restoration).  When the project first started, I received a care package from Scott Brady (Overland Journal) w/ quite a few goodies including a set of barely used Old Man Emu shocks and a steering dampener.  Life's been more than a little busy, but it worked out that I finally had time to install them (last year was one for the record books). My friend Gabriel came over and gave me a hand so he could take the lightly used Bilsteins home with him to use on his Discovery 1. We had to fight it a little to get the old shocks off, but the OME standard duty shocks Scott sent up along with the steering stabilizer are now installed. Rides pretty nice!

A big thanks to Scott for helping me out with the parts, and another big thanks to Gabe for coming up to help do the swap.

A couple of photos since everything is better with photos!

Gabe happy to have the old shocks/towers out and the new shock in.
