So, just in case anyone needs to know how to do this...
- Grab the grabber tool from allegro's website
- Fire it up
- File->Load codes.dat from the c:\program files\scantool.net_win directory
- Select the line that says
- Object->Export - Which will save the codes in pcodes.txt
- Edit the file, but make sure you keep the same format of codedescription
- Make sure the codes you add are inserted in the right order. That is, don't just put a p1143 code at the end of the file, insert it after p1142 or whatever the code just prior to it is.
- Go back into grabber (assuming that codes.dat is still loaded)
- Select the line that says
- Select Object->Grab and then select the pcodes.txt file you edited.
- Select File->Save
You are done.
