| ok, so after i went wheeling today at evans creek, i found that when i turn on my headlights (not the city lights), my horn sounds and the high beam indicator turns on. the horn is continuous but the high beam indicator is intermittant. the horn dies off when the lights are turned on while the motor is off. it will stay on if the motor is running which makes me think that there is a short somewhere and if the voltage is sufficient, the circuit will complete and the horn will go off. the sound is quieter than the regular horn sound. also, the horn works just fine when i hit the buttons.
so, where in all creation do the circuit for the horn and the headlights intersect? i can understand there being a short between the low and high beams but the horn? come on! it's never done this before and only started after numerous water crossings. any ideas? thanks

| Sounds like there might be a short, diconnect or issue with the alarm
ECU. Or, pull off the sterring wheel shroud and see if there or some
wires jacketing that have been rubbed through.
