Why can't I figure out how to remove the interior trim from the cargo door?  Speaker off, handle off, latch surround off.  I've attempted a few different non-damaging techniques, but I'm just not getting it.  I'm afraid to pull any harder for fear of breaking something and forever having a strange looking rear trim piece.  Any tips?

The panel is held in place by plastic clips. The heads of the clips are recessed into the panel on the back so you can't see them from the front (interior side). You need a panel remover tool or you'll break them (or the pressboard panel). With a screwdriver, I was able to carefully remove about 75% of them, but even with care I broke the rest... The interior panel removal tool is cheaply available from just about any autoparts store.

I broke a ton of clips when I removed mine.  X2 on getting proper tool for cheap.

Ben - I've a panel tool here in PDX if you need one.

Sears has 'em for about $12 as well.

Where are you and what kind of beer do you like?

Over on the east side - Freemont 38th area.

As for the beer - cold is good  - but to be honest beer isn't required as the beer would probably cost more than the panel tool...

Handy things to have as you never know when you'll need to yank a door panel.
