I got my old compressor off the V8 and on to the 2.8.  I went to pull off the pulley as it now uses a ribbed belt instead of the V belt.  I only used a gear puller and a crow bar for the last part.

But it seems the shaft is not the right one for the new unit.  See the pictures.  Is there an easy way to change the shaft out?  I know, it's not summer, but I want to get this on like it should be.

Dirty things = old parts.  You can see how the old one was just flat and keyed, where the new one ain't.
