Hello All,

I have a iPod right now and have a plugged into my cassette player, but I am tired of hearing it wind and wind as it plays ;) I want to get this fully integrated so I can use the steering wheel controls for more than just volume. Any experience or suggestions?

Thanks,
Chris

See what you think of this Chris.

I don't believe you can use all your factory controls though.

I have a the dealer installed iPod option on my E46, worth the $300.

Thanks for the lead Doug, I have not that one and it does look nice

Any other thoughts guys? I really want to integrate it into the Rover so I can use the steering wheel controls and radio displays. Is there really nothing out there for the Rovers?

I've seen a few threads on discoweb.org about this but never really paid attention (I have a carputer with an mp3 jukebox )

Way old thread, but since I received a Nano for Christmas I decided to look into it a bit.

Looks like the "GROM iPod V2 Adapter Interface BMW Mini Rover #BMWI2" allows volume/forward/reverse control over the iPod from the steering wheel adapter. It replaces the CD changer (freeing up room for a HAM radio install!)

The link will probably be dead, but if you search Google with the name/description above you should find a fresh ebay sale relatively easily.
