Chris and I are the only two with D2s. I don't know how to do it. Greg Davis suggests doing it for people who buy his rear bumpers, you might want to ask him. gregandjan@hotmail.com

don't you have greg's bumper? did you end up rewiring your lights or did you place turn signals into the bumper?

All you need is to get a trailer box that converts independant turn/brake signals into common bulb, so that your turn signals and brake lights come from the same light.  I forget the part number but draw tite makes the box for like $15.  Also Safari Gard has the instructions on their website for the same procedure.Â

Thanks for the welcome Andy.  I will look around my house because I should have the wiring listed for the turn signals and the brake lights so you know which wires to connect.  I also have the reciept from the trailer place for the wiring box so i can tell you exactly which one.  Let me look around and see if i can find that stuff for you.Â

DSII Rear Light Wiring Codes

Right Side Brake=Green w/ Purple Stripe

Left Side Brake=Green w/ Purple Stripe

Right Side Indicator=Green w/ White Stripe

Left Side Indicator= Green w/ Red Stripe

Right Side Tail Light= Red w/ Orange Stripe

Left Side Tail Light=Red w/ Black Stripe

Reverse Lamps=Green w/ Natural (Tan?) Stripe

This is the converter, i think it is less than $20
Drawtite (P/N 18130)

Hope this helps. Also you might want to double check the wires with a wire tester just to double check and make sure they are the same on your truck.Â
