I started doing some research to see if I could find a trail that I/we could spend a week or more on up in British Columbia.  I posted the most interesting info in my blog.

I found Dave Blairs write-up on a 6 day trip on the Machenzie trail that looks like a lot of fun.

I also found a book that describes most of the more popular trails in BC.  It is 20 years old now (1995) so some of the trails are now closed, but is still looks like it is a good reference.

There was also a 1000 mile ARB BC Outback Adventure write-up that looked interesting.  That article is where I originally learned about the Whipsaw Trail.

Finally, it isn't in my blog, but the BC Roverlanders regularly go to the BC Okanogan/Greystokes area, a Bible Camp, etc.  They have several trips that they do over a long weekend that they consider worth repeating nearly every year.  I'd like to do each of these trips "one-day"... maybe I should join the Roverlanders.

I'd ecourage you guys to read the Mackenzie Trail writeup. This looks like an opportunity of a lifetime that might not be accessible in another 10 years.

I added 2 more guide books to 4WD trails on Vancouver Island and inland BC.
