Dust mine eyes deceive me? Another road trip to Moab?

That's right boys and girls, my wife and I will be traveling to Moab to spend a few days before continuing to Colorado Springs. We will be leaving early on Saturday the 24th and driving all day to Salt Lake City to spend the night in some cheap hotel (read neon sign and shag carpet), the following morning we will roll into Moab for a partial day of easy off road play. The next day will encompass more 4x4 exploring, gourmet camp food, and alcohol embellished stories around a camp fire. The next morning we will pack up camp and head to Colorado Spring via Grand Junction (wine tasting) and I70.

The following Friday, the 30th, we will then depart Colorado Springs with some of my good friends (driving two of the most ridiculous Rovers you have seen) bound for Ouray to spend the next three or four days playing around on Engineers Pass and Cinnamon Pass looking for abandoned mining villages and such.

The night of October 3rd, a Monday, we will be "resorting" in Durango where my wife will be flying out on a business trip. The journey after that is unclear, but sure to be scenic and entertaining.

Despite the title, that could be misleading, this is not just a Moab trip. Anyone is welcome to join us for any part of this excursion, it would be great to have a fellow NWOS member out there!

I did try making this an event, but the website is effed and would not allow me. This is an event, this is happening.

I would be down for a trip like this, but early summer is around the best time for me.
