It's time for me to part with the 110.  My main reasons for selling, as I'm sure many will ask, is to continue in my current lifestyle which doesn't, at the moment, bring in a lot of cash.  Plus I would like to do more international travel and the sale of this vehicle will help with that.  It's been a good truck and I'll be sad when it goes.

The price is $40,000 and comes with many extras listed below. Pictures will be posted after this thread. Dan is still happy to handle calls or you may contact me directly.  The truck is on Whidbey Island currently but I can meet up anywhere in the Puget Sound area for the right party to view and test drive.

18% of the purchase price will be donated to charity.

Truck is current located on Langley , Washington and registered in Island County where I live. Email sales@wildkingdom-offroad.com or phone 425-359-5890.  Or me at peter@thecareyadventures.com, phone 206-973-8309

- NAS D110 #322
- 190,000 miles on the odometer, but that's about 3000 shy of actual (plus with the tires size, the speedo is high by about 9%)
- Engine replaced 7000 miles ago. International 2.8 TGV (variable gate turbo) diesel, 4 cylinder. Bought engine and mounting kit from M&D Engineering in the UK. Averages 18.6MPG on road trips and 18MPG offroad. It's been run on mostly Biodiesel in different blends. Has glow plugs.
- ZF automatic 4 speed transmission out of a Discovery. Rebuilt 7000 miles ago by Pendy.
- LT230 Transfer case with 1.2:1 ratio and Q gears. Rebuilt 7000 miles ago by Wild Kingdom Offroad
- It's getting a set of brand new tires today. Goodyear Silent Armor AT, 235/85/16 (tires are on now)
- Old Man Emu suspension. Expedition rated nitro springs and shocks giving it about 2" of lift over old Bilstien
- Eezi-Awn third generation T-Top 1400 tent with side walls and ground cover. Installed 1 year ago and used about 20 nights. Bolted directly to exterior roll cage with 4 grade 8 bolts. Can be removed by 2 people.
- Set of 4 Hella 4000 lights. Currently not wired in.
- Spare fuel tank from a D-90. aprx 12 gallons under the passenger seat. Hooked to two fuel switches (input/output). Switches flawlessly while driving. Total capacity with main tank is about 33 gallons for an average range of 600 miles on a two tank fill.
- Zippered spare tire cover has room for recovery gear. Came from Rovers North.
- New brake pads all around and new rotors up front. Change in the last 1400 miles.
- Tuffy security center console.
- ARB front bumper
- Warn M8000 winch
- 125'x3/8" winchline.com winch...uhhh....line. This is the combo line noted here.
- Remote mounted winch controller in Tuffy box
- Mantec snorkel
- 6 qty 18"x60" sand ladders included. When stacked on top of each other (layer of 2 mats) can be used as a bridging ladder.
- Various parts and attachments (hubnut socket, winchline repair kit, fuel filter, etc...)

That's a quick run down of what's what. Here's some of the things to note:
- Rear jump seats and carpet removed. I have the rear jump seats and seatbelts and they are included. I removed them to increase rear capacity and to possibly install a Truck Vault.
- Transfer case has a leak from a sheared bolt. Need about 10oz every 2000 miles.
- Parking brake is currently not installed. Needs a mounting bracket.
- Tach is not hooked up
- Minor dents to rear quarter panels (seen in pictures)
- Speedo reads 9% over as noted, so millage is actually lower.
- I've owned the truck since September of 2003. before me there were two owners; one for 6 months and the other for 9 years.
- Kenwood CD Stereo is included but not hooked up. I'd suggest getting a new set of speakers as the ones in it are old and worn. Includes a multicontroller, Sirius radio controller, weather band tuner and an aux jack for the likes of CB or iPod. Stereo locks in Tuffy box.
- It could use an upgrade to the cooling system. It runs hot when it's hot out, around 210F on uphills in the summer. Cools down quick when relaxed. It has a Painless Wiring fan kick-on kit and that helps bring on the auxiliary fans when it gets over 200F.
- AC doesn't blow super cold but does blow cold. It's needing an ECU to regulate pressure, but that will be fixed before delivery.

Egads!! I forgot the most important part of the sale! 18% of the purchase price will be donated to charity. No, I'm not joking. It'll be a mix of maybe 4 different charities, like Room to Read, local Red Cross, etc...

Dangit! it only has 180,000.....hold on I'm gonna do the ferris beullar trick and jack the rear end up with a brick on the gas pedal...

thats only 270,000 miles. I figure thats another 1080 fill ups for the trooper and if gas stays at 3.70 gal that's like $59,400  pretty even trade..

This may sound smartass, but I assure you I am serious when I ask if you would like one of us from NWOS to "take care" of or "look after" (someone like me, I'll wash and detail it often and have it full of fuel when you return from your excursion) this fine rig so that you have it when you return??

Or you could sell it to me for 20 bucks and I'll sell it back to you for 10???

-Just a thought I had while sitting here staring at the pictures...

The vehicle will indeed be with a NWOS member. I've commissioned Dan to sell it in my stead. He knows more about it than I do as he's wrenched on and under it a bunch (same with some others here). If he charges you $20 for a ride in it.....I'd think twice.
