i got one with my winchline but i bought a cooler red one at the backpacking store.  it's ~10' and says winchline.com on it.  it came on a 5/16th line; i'm not too sure if it'll fit 3/8ths.

if you want it and are coming to the mng next week, drop me a line.

I'd love to have it.  Does it slide on or sleeve on. If it is the latter, then it won't work.

ok, so the meet and greet is this week. my bad.

the winchline cover is a sleeve that you pull on from one end. not the type that opens with velcro or some such. it's just tubular webbing like climbers use.

yeah, no matter who gets it, you'd have to unspool all the line and thread it back through.
