...or, if I ever get a chance to show up at a meet-n-greet, you can buy me a beer.

  1. 10' whip antenna from Radio Shack.  David Giler gave me this a while back, I strapped it on, works fine, but I decided that I don't want a whip on the Rover.  He was going to use it on his Volvo troop carrier thing, but I think he ended up getting some other system.  It has a slight bend in the last foot.
  2. Ball Joint Repair Kit in the bag still: STC3295
  3. Original plastic running boards from a 1989 RRC, in good shape, so if one of yours is broken, or whatever, these would be a good replacement till you can get sliders.
  4. Shovel and Axe mount.  These were bolted onto a steel plate and it was welded onto my roof rack... it looked really ugly, so I took the whole thing off.  This mount actually works pretty well, and I figured I might use it again, but... I just don't want to.
  5. High Lift mount.  This also was bolted onto a plate, then welded onto the roof rack on the opposite side.  You will need to get the latch for this to lock the High Lift in place, but if you are that type of person, it won't be a problem.

The shovel and axe mount is better than the high lift mount, but it can be made to work -- I used it a lot.

If you want any photos, just let me know.

Also:

Say... FREE... Rear swaybar quick disconnect -- I pulled it off early on because it was clonking, but with the HD suspension, I just didn't notice enough of a difference to ever think about fixing it.

Say... FREE... Some bits of interior for a Disco I (and some II): new rear passenger ash tray, like new in-dash front ash tray, and a blank fog light switch with a small hole drilled in the center of it -- good for an aux switch mount of some kind.

Say... some price... for a set of new rear bumper light guards.

Say... some price... for an OK condition BFG M/T w/40% tread on it -- I'm using the other one as my full size spare: 235/85r16

FREE: set of four Michelin stock RRC tires. Two are at least 40% tread, the other two are iffy.

Anyone want to trade my XD for a good condition '95 LWB? Just... throwin that out there... just can't get my mind off my short lived LWB days........ I loved that car!

Ben,

Is the rear ash-tray for a DII? The one that goes in the center armrest?

It goes in the back of the center console. I "think" the ashtray is the same as on the DII, I can check in the morning if you want.

Don't bother... I was having a brain cramp. I'm looking for the cupholder that goes in the arm-rest, not an ash-tray.

Like I said, it does actually work well, locks, and holds tight.  It is bolted to this steel plate, and that plate is what was welded to my roof rack....

I've also got two tan colored DI cargo covers. Both good. One is slightly bent near the middle, so it wobbles as you unroll it. Make me an offer on either of those, I doubt I will ever use it, but I'll keep whichever one you don't take.

Volvo troop carrier? Got any pictures of that? I'm picturing a jacked up 240 with an open bed and portal axles.

Are you suggesting that I can just pull anything out of my garage since this is the first time it's really been clean in something like 5 years?
