Nate, what kind of shape are these in? internal rust? Good Seals? I'm am very interested.

could possibly have my son pick up Jerry cans and stuff I got from Mike. He lives in Shoreline with his girlfriend and his brand new British bulldog.

LOL Dale... These are NATO cans being sold by Todd, not "Todd-O" cans being sold by Nate.

I hauled them all over Or-eee-gone without any leaking problems. One of the four Todd hauled home from me had a bit of a leak on the lid, but only if it was lying on it's side. If I were a bit sharper, I would have sent the BRAND NEW LID SEALS I bought along with Todd. I'll find 'em when I get home the first week of April.

O.K. i get it....I am going to paint/repaint them bright Rustoleum Red anyway  .  the new seals would be wonderful and will be willing to reimburse you for those too.Now quit picking on me, I'm an old fart having a senior moment!

I will make a donation ASAP as soon as you confirm that these little gems are mine.

Now, can you get them up to Seattle so that my son can bring them home to me?  Or are they up their already?  It can be a real pain being here in Snowkane when all the action is over there on the Left Coast.  BTW, the snow is slowly melting over here.  I still have between 1-3 feet of snow in the shaded backyard with some dead grass showing up in the front and side yards.  Its been raining off and on for the past few days keeping me from installing the D.C. adaptor for the R2H.  Still looking for a 1.8" 160 Gig drive for it....

Actually, I have 8 cans right now.  Tony's were a matching set so I bout them and am selling my others.  the ones I am selling work fine and I have not encountered any leaking problems, but a new seal set will correct any future issues.  these are used military cans, not in perfect shape, but definately better that what you would get at Joes for 2-3 times the cost.

I do not want to ship them, and may or may not be able to get them to Seattle right away.

Dale, I have 2 cans that could easily be repainted and are smoother than the others. They would be ideal for making them red.

Wow! I feel like Mr. Popularity! Wonder if they let 60 y.o.'s back to try their Senior prom a second time!

Craig, thnks for the sites! I didn't get a spec sheet with the computer, so will go back on-line and see if I can find one. Then will order the 160 ...or ... just remembered that the Sandisk SSDs are supposed to come out early this summer. Same price, no moving parts. Gotta think about this a bit.

Todd, you've got me sold! I really like the military style cans. I have one already, so these two combined with the first will give me another 250-280 road miles/200-250 dirt miles. I'm really glad I got the HD ARB suspension on right after I bought my Taco. Rides a bit rough until I add some weight in the back :-)

Just a thought but, if these are Nato cans the rubber seal can be removed and flipped over to form a much better seal as there is no grove impression in the other side.

Unless they are cracked with age it works very well. Have done it with mine. I can also give you a link to get the seals very quickly if you wish.

Todd, are these the cans you had on the Steens trip that leaked fuel down the back of your old truck before it burst into flames?

thanks Grant, send me an email and I'll get you Jeremy's phone # and address. I am sure he can meet you somewhere so you don't have to go too far out of the way.

Nevak, is that how he got the nickname "Hellboy"?
