That is an awesome rig!  IS THAT A HEMI?  hahaha!   I wish wet gun dogs didn't smell so bad in the cab of a rig or I would consider it!  WET GUN DOGS?  Yes, hence the reason I went with a Tacoma for my new rig!  LOL

Danny,

Any details on the clamp you are using to hold the rear tire swingout closed?  Actually a few details on that entire swingout would be great.  Where do the jerry cans go?

Craig

Thx Alex........ I just wanted to push a little bit!!!

Craig.... The latch is...... Either granger or DTS? I can look up through my receipts and find out. It is a locking reach latch rated to 4000 lbs and is stainless for the weather. Yes I went way overboard on the latch rating but it was like 20 bucks more to go from 1k to the 4 k an having larger latch helps for offraod use and peace of mind. When in doubt I would rather over build. It all sits on a tapered rollar bearings on bottom right side. Then used double hyme joints to connect to door sonit swings out with the door. Nice for repeated locking and unlocking while camping when the wife decides to go in 12 time rather jan just get everything once! Shh I didn't say this! Lol

Any othe questions welcome. I am leaving to Arizona for the weekend to enjoy some sun. So o I am a likely slow to respond you know why.

Danny

Oh ...... The cans of water or gas fit 2 between the swing away and the rear door. There is rubber straps mounted permanently for attaching them. Door still swings open fine and. Then you can either mount a HiLift on the right side next to the tire or another Jerry can!

Yep... I caught the big ole smiley.    Just thought it would be fun to put a wheelin pic up to help Danny capture the imagination of any potential buyers.

Thx Danny. It's a nice setup. I'm building mine right now and like your latch better than the one I bought.
