Everyone,
I thought I would post this and see if anyone is interested! I am going to replace the Warn M12000 winch in my Dodge with a more appropriate to it's size and weight Warn 16.5ti! I am not going to use that M12000 on my new Tacoma now as I am opting for the Endurance 12 instead! Therefore I am going to let the M12000 go on here if anyone is interested! \
Here are the details.....it is a used (yes it works! trust me I know...haha) Warn M12000 bought in 2007 when I purchased the truck! It has MasterPull Superline XD rope which has a spot where the outer cover is removed but the rope itself is just fine! It will not have a fairlead with it as that will stay on my truck! It is in good working order!
Words of note! As Grant knows that truck is currently down and waiting for a new transmission to show up! It could be as much as two to three weeks before I get it back! As soon as I do get it back I will swap the winch and have the M12000 available for the buyer! If that buyer is in the Seattle or PDX area I will be willing to bring it to the next meet and greet in that area to save tham on shipping if they would like! That will also give me the opportunity to meet some of the other members in that area! Otherwise, the shipping is on the buyer!
OKAY, HERE IS THE KICKER!! I AM NOT GOING TO RUN THIS AS A CLASSIFIED AD! I AM GOING TO RUN THIS AS A KIND OF "ONLINE AUCTION" OF SORTS! (with Craig's permission
) THE WINCH WILL GO TO WHOMEVER THE HIGHEST BIDDER IS! HOWEVER, EVERYONE SHOULD NOTE THE HIGHEST BIDDER AND WINNER OF THIS AUCTION IS NOT TO PAY ME, BUT INSTEAD SEND THAT MONEY DIRECTLY TO CRAIG AS A DONATION TO THE NWOS WEBSITE AND COMMUNITY FOR USE HOWEVER CRAIG SEE'S FIT!
So in recap....this is an online auction for a used Warn M12000 winch with the proceeds going to the Northwest Overland Society as a donation! So, go on and make a killer deal, help out NWOS and get yourself UNSTUCK (or me if we ever wheel together...lol) sometime in the future!
Auction begins now and will last until.........ummmmm........whenever, but no later than say the 15th! Of course you don't have to pay until I actually get it out of the truck! I will do that as soon as I get the truck back from the shop! I already have the other winch to put in! There is no reserve, so truly the highest "bidder" get's it!
Have fun!!!!!!!
P.S. Here is a picture of it installed on my Dodge! As you can see it is well protected behind there and I have not hit anything with it other than a few deer!
