Ok, so I guess its about time to put my ongoing, never ending, and the pain in the ass that is my Trooper RS. As some might know (Benny and Caleb) I have already been putting money and time into this truck for awhile. I got this on a deal.....I bought a trooper for my father and he bought this one for me.....even drove a trailer down to oregon to get it.  I did my research and found that not only are they short (about 3" shorter than most jeep wranglers) but they are also extremely rare.

My Trooper as it sits right now packs an I4 2.6 I-Tec Engine, 5 Speed Transmission, Manual Transfer Case, SuperWinch Manual Hubs, Independent4x Front Winch Bumper, and a Super Awesome Monster Head Shift Knob.

Plans I have for it include: A completely redone Engine as it is toast right now, adding a Delta Performance Cam and a Pacesetter header, Custom Exhaust, 1.5" Suspension Lift, and 33" BFG M/Ts.

  Cody

I will have some pics up soon.....I hate a few on my welcome thread if your interested.

I love the RS's.  I bought an '89 from the auction for $500 which ended up being one of the better vehicles I've ever had.

HURRY UP WITH THE PICS!

YAY!!....Update time, well I should be starting the work on my Trooper RS (Which I have dubbed Project Dirtydog) very soon. I am going to go take new pics tomorrow or friday and post them up. Besides pulling the engine for rebuild, the back bumper is gunna be the biggest pain in my arse. I tried to pull it off about 2 yrs ago and it wasn't cooperating. So soon I hope to have a fully functioning build thread that I will update weekly at least. I will be asking a lot of questions to anyone that has knowledge of the Trooper engines and the build of them. Mainly speaking towards Benny and Caleb.

Here she is in all of her non-glory. The last picture is what I did today.....had to grind the rusty bolts out of the frame.

@Benny....I wish I could have it done before that trip.....but it isnt in the funds yet to get the engine redone. Maybe I can talk to my cousin.....he just picked up a 2000 XJ he may want to go and I can just ride shotgun.

Today I started prepping it for the lift. Gotta let some WD-40 soak in.

Also that last pics is of the Warn Winch I have.

It is a Warn Powerplant. And I found out today that it does NOT fit in my front bumper....which is a bummer.

Will it fit if you cut your grill?
