Sorry guys I had a cell phone picture attached and it disappeared. I will update this when I get my computer/camera issue figured out.

So I did a whole lot of cutting today. Besides removing 60 lbs of factory parts I cut a bunch of the box off as well. In the second picture you can see where I got carried away tring to pull out stumps and tweeked my frame. This keep me from fully bolting up the bumper and performing a final cut, trim and blend. I am heading down to the weld shop tomorrow to see if they can weld on my frame doublers and put a hot wrench to the frame to fix my stupidity. This generation of Tacoma is know for frame cracks and doublers are highly sugested with a swing out tire carrier. Now for some photos.

Looking good, Mike! I agree on the frame re-inforcement. Truthfully, your frame tweaks don't look too bad, its only on the tail.
If you need some help getting it hoisted into position lemeno, I'm happy to call Craig for you
:)

Man, that looks great Mike! Just out of curiosity, what did you use to cut the body panels? Sawzall? Angle grinder with cutting wheel? Very strong scissors?   (I need to start hacking away at my Toytota, but curious as to what tool would be best. Thanks!)

Rob I started to use the sawzall but was to jerky so switched over to a high speed cut off wheel and finished out with a hand file. One side came out real nice (flat) and the other is a little wavy.

Today I had a local fab shop install my frame doublers and square up my tweaked frame they took me in on the spot and was out the door two and half hours latter! Great service and did a great job! The shop is Wes weld in Stanwood WA in anyone needs welding work.

Hey Grant thanks for volunteering Craigs time, very kind of you! I repurposed my trany jack, a block of 4X4 fence post and some lag bolts and turned it into a bumper lift.

Thanks guys for the offers of help! The bumper is now suspended by wire cleaned wiped down aready for primer. Set up my temporary paint booth last night and ready to spray.
Grant speaking of shop space every time I have to do work on the truck I have too kick Stacey out of the garage and that goes OK for a day or two in the winter.

Interesting design, I think I like it.  Curious (but not concerned)  about the weight difference from OEM set up.  Interesting to know the net weight gain.

Looking good, Mike.  Do you have any sort of body lift on the truck?

Interested in seeing this thing painted and installed.
