A friend and I are going in on sliders for our Disco 1's. We will be doing a 3x3 Angle to the body with a 1x3 tube under the doors, some flat stock reinforcments, and some tube to the frame at the front and back. All told parts and supplys look like $350 for every two trucks. If any one is intrested please drop me a line and I can buy more steel. This will be a weekend long weld fest. We are located in the Seattle area. If you have a difrent truck and want to make your own you can get in on the steel purtchase. As of now for two trucks we are buying 20 ft each 3x3 Angle 1/8th, 1x3 tube 1/8th (may go to 3/16), and 3 in flat stock 1/8th. We will meet up and weld them over a weekend. Finnishing them will be up to you. I will have mine galvanized though paint and powder would be options. If you are not in the area and would like a set made we can discuss price.
