Anyone disassemble and clean this unit before? Difficulty? 

The motor seems to be working just fine but squeals really loudly at all speeds but full blast.

I'm hoping it can be cleaned (I'm betting on dust) and lubed. I'm not too interested in the $350 for a new one.

I just put mine back in, but didn't clean it while it was out so I can't answer the dissasembly question.

IIRC, I believe you can get it out with only removing the glove box and the passenger side footwell heater vent. You might have to pull the airbag too, but I don't think so.  Be sure to disconnect your battery first. 

The heater vent is held in place with a recessed screw that has to be removed before you give it a tug. The glove box is a snap.  IIRC, the blower is held in with 4 bolts.
