The Toyota Land Cruisers don't get enough attention on here.  How about posting a few pics, links, videos, etc of your favorites...

All of them are fantastic trucks in their own right, but the 70 series is one of the most popular vehicles in the world.  Sold in Venezuela as the "Macho".

It has coils on all four corners, available in a reliable Toyota diesel, SWB/MWB/LWB options, and tons of aftermarket support... anyway, here's a cool website in Venezuela that has a bunch of them for sale (LHD).  Too new to import, but who knows... maybe I'll fly down there and take one on a trip sometime.

Agreed the 55s, 60s -- and especially the 70-seriers Troopys are just plain cool. Time tested rugged design has persisted for Toyota in all markets... Except in the US!

They're the Toyota equivalent of the Royal Endfield: Anything is field maintainable, recoverable, or fixable with enough time and ingenuity

I like the size of the mid-length wheelbase trucks.  103" wheelbase.  This particular truck isn't my favorite, as it is the leaf spring "BJ73" but it shows the size.  I like the lines of the LJ73s better.

I'll drive a leaf sprung diesel Toyota any day...especially because its actually a possibility.

Ding, ding, ding, ding...  We have a winner!...  Yeah, I'd love that HiLux... I photo'ed many of them in Chile. I didn't measure one but it looks shorter than the US Tacoma version. Notice how the rear axle is tucked up behind the cab? You oughta bring them in from Chile. They have left hand drive and diesels!

What a coincidence, I haven't been on the site for a couple months because of work and the day I come back there is a post about land cruisers. I've had several land rovers and always thought I would be a lifelong rover owner until I realized that my rover was in the shop almost monthly. Last spring I gave up my latest RRC and got a 2003 Land Cruiser (UZJ 100). It doesn't have a solid axle but it's incredibly reliable and with almost a 100k miles it still rides like new. I took it through Utah and the Sierra this summer and it had no problems (except for scraping the a** on ledges). I plan on adding a small lift and protection over time but for now I am just enjoying the worry-free toyota life.
