Land Rover Light Weight.

It was made to be able to be taken apart quickly, in the field, so that it could be transported by helicopter. That was when helicopters couldn't lift so much....

That's a pretty nice one! Where is this? I'm going to Alaska on Thursday.

I saw a beautiful lightweight at a very shady shop near my house. That's a nice looking example. I like!

Ironically a "lightweight" is heavier than a regular Land Rover Series. Always thought that was kinda funny.

Ben, it was in downtown Ketchikan. It was very nice indeed! Just a few vehicles down was a series 109 for sale. It was sadly swiss cheese and way to much money if you ask me! $15,000 for a 1967 I believe?

Thanks for the info Ben. It was a really cool looking truck, and I would like to have one someday!
