Alert | So, I'm driving the new Classic, and three times this morning the T-Case alarm sounds off for no reason. I even shifted into, and out of neutral at a stop light to make sure the knob was fully seated in the "H" position. The silly thing is, at first I did not recognize the alarm, and was quickly shutting everything in the car down to try to pin-point what that cursed noise was coming from -- radio off, defrost off, heater blower off -- and when I turned the blower off, the alarm went off. This happened twice -- like truning the fan down made the alarm go off.
The T-Case is locked up, and I am driving around in Impotent Mode. That is, with the front drive shaft disconnected and laying helplessly on the garage floor at home.
Any ideas on what I need to do to fix this issue? | | RBBailey Images Rovers | |

Alert | The alarm you're hearing is the t-case neutral alarm. It may be as simple as adjusting the the linkage. It may be in gear, but just far enough out to trigger the switch.

Alert | That's what I assume, I've had it happen before after shifting, but not quite getting it tight, it pops out if you drive a bit... but this shuts off when I turn the fan switch up or down... It happened twice more on the way home, and both times I shut it off by turning the fan on.
