As a break off of the ARB discussion this is just a place to point out North Central Washington stuff.

I really don't know a lot of the area.  the property I own is between Tonasket and Palmer Lake (yes, you'll need a map for most of this discussion).  I know back when I bought it and drove a FJ40 there were all kinds of tracks, some from sparse logging and some from/to property.  That area is mostly private in one way or another but most roads are easement roads.

I have looked to the East of Hwy97 and on in the gazetter there are a lot of labeled 4wd roads.  But I have found that things are obviously different on the ground.  Such as the 4wd labeled road up from Palmer Lake to Prize Mine, which is right under my property....it doesn't exist.
