So I was talking to Craig about places to camp in oregon next weekend that are not too far away, and I'd usually recommend something near Mt Hood.  My concern was the snow this year and what might be open. 

Well...  On the news tonight, I got my answer.  Only 36 of the 83 campgrounds in Mt Hood National Forest are open.  That says something about how the remote areas will be.
