I saw the post and pictures and got inspired.

I drove in today from the East off of road 2821. I made it to 4600' about a third of mile away. There were still some snow patches above 4400' I still have the original GYs on the truck and decided to push the final climb. I'm pretty sure, given better rubber I could have made the summit with out too much effort. Great climb.

There were ruts of others who had made it up earlier in the day.  I would say open, but with a little extra challenge on the last 1/4 mile.
