Hi everyone, my friends at ARB recommended this forum for some input on a camping spot prior to us doing Route 3 of the OBDR.

I am looking for a private, secluded camping spot on our leg from Cultus Lake BC to Big Lake, OR. It's too long of a drive to do in one day for me and the kids and get going on the OBDR the same day.

So, I am hoping to find a camping spot somewhere along that route so that we can hit the OBDR that following day fairly early.

Any suggestions?

Also, if anyone has any pointers on Route 3 of the OBDR that would be great as well. We are budgeting 4-5 days to do that. Any favorite camping spots? Nice fishing lakes to spend a day or two? How long should we budget timewise to do the entire 375 miles?
