I am wanting to pull the studs off of my 91 RRC and would really like to keep the studs mounted up on the stock wheels. Anyone have any wheels sitting around that would fit a 91 RRC. I just missed some cool 5 spoke steel wheels off of e-bay but I would love to avoid the shipping charges. I am out by Hood River Oregon but I have a great tire guy in Portland so something in the Portland area would be fine. I may even be able to get something down from Seattle as I have some friends up there as well.

thanks

Craig

I have a set of these......

good shape no scratches. With center caps. Don't know what you're looking for. They fit the Defender, D1, RRC.

I have to make  a quick trip to Astoria in a few weeks. I could drop them in Hood River for you.

 Scott,

Those won't work, I have the larger bolt pattern and have 16" tires already. Thanks for the offer.

Jason,

I am not very picky on styling just need to keep it cheap. How much are you wanting for those?

thanks

Craig, honestly don't know. Hadn't thought about it. I've seen them go from $150 to $300 for a whole set on Dweb, LRRForums, and ExPo.

Probably somewhere in that range. Or hell, just make me a decent offer. Remember though, I'm saving you shipping

I don't want to insult you by throwing out a super low price. I very much appreciate the shipping part! There was a set of the 3 spokes on craigslist that I missed that sold for $110. The set of 5 spoke steel ones I missed on Ebay would have cost me $170 including shipping. I would love to stay right around $100 but I know that may be pushing it. I could most likely be OK with a price somewhere between those two. Anything closer to $200 would be too rich for my blood right now.

If you need some wheels out of your garage and a few bucks works for you let me know. If you need to get more than that out of them I completely understand give a me a call and maybe we can work something out or you can shoot me your phone and I can give you a ring.

thanks

Craig, I don't really understand what you're doing.  'R' you keeping your stock 3 spokes and looking for additional wheels?

Oh crap, you're talking about studded tires huh?  So you ARE looking for an additional set of wheels, for your summertime tires.

Yep, you got it. I hate having to have tires mounted and unmounted, plus it is bad for the tires. It also means I can pull the studs off sooner and cause less road damage. If it turns cold again I can just toss them back on.

Jason,
Any word on the wheels? I sent you an e-mail and haven't heard back. Just checking to know if I should still be looking.
thanks
