Alert | | So, I messed up the front right of my 97 Disco the other day and now I am searching for some parts. 1) I need the headlight filler panel, passenger side - this is the plastic piece just below the headlight. 2) I need a grill. 3) I could probably use a different bumper - an upgraded/aftermarket bumper as the stock bumper is so weak and the one I have is more than usable. My discovery is Black, so ideally I would like to find black replacements, or I can obviously paint anything. If you have anything you think I could use, let me know; or if you know of a wrecking yard in the area that might be able to help that would be great. Also, if you've got any ideas/suggestions on upgrades I'd love to hear them. Thanks |

Alert | Curtis,
I carry ARB, and Safari Gard. SG is discontinuing their bumpers in favor of focusing on suspension, if they have any left I might be able to get you a pretty good buy. The filler panel is about $30 new I believe, having been through this front end song and dance earlier this year. Let me know via PM, or call me if you want and I can shoot you some prices. If you stay w/ a stock bumper I have some end caps in good shape I could sell you. Let me know, I'll be happy to help.

Alert | I would love to upgrade to an aftermarket bumper, but buying one new at this time is pretty low on my list - I was thinking someone might have one that they'd used for awhile and taken off in favor of something different. I'll take a look though, I assume all of SG's bumpers are on their website. I actually have a new end cap for that side as the on that I ruined was already messed up when I got the truck. Thanks - Curt

Alert | | Does anyone know if a Discovery 2 grill will fit on a D1? I found one near me for relatively cheap, so... I know that the replacements are a direct swap but I haven't found any info on the grills. | | | |

Alert | Craig,
Yes SG makes a front bumper for the RRC. When I picked up the Range Rover I called them and they had one left. I'm not sure if they still do though.

Alert | Thx Scott. I'm kinda bummed that SG is getting out of the bumper business. While overpriced, I always thought they were by far the best compromise between functionality and looks.
