I won't name names but i know a guy who's thinking about getting a rover, i think he's the d1 type but i'm not for sure... Anybody know of a nicely used disco for under 8g?

I have a very nice one that I will let go for well under 8G.
It doesn't have a ton of upgrades, but it would be a very nice start.

If we had asked the public what they wanted, they would have said "Faster Horses".

Yea, that is the one.

It is a 96' and the details can be found here:

The third one that I own belongs to Jeremy. I actually wanted to give him this one, but the wife said it was wiser to let this one go (in a monetary sense.) The 94' will be a better learning experience for him.

nice, i'll let him know britt... it's not isaac, it's a friend of mine who came out with us yesterday in his jeep... I did find a 5 speed 96 disco here for sale in seattle!seattle.craigslist.org/oly/car/315981940.html and people call them rare, pshhh  we really need a p38 owner here in the crowd, i've always wanted to see a nicely set up p38, plus i've got some p38 turn signals not in use...

I own a P38 also but my wife doen't want me to wheel in her daily driver.

PS The price would be much more negotiable to some one in our group.

Chris, you weren't going to name names - but it's the guy who came out with you yesterday in his Jeep... LOL!! I guess he's tired of only doing 55 mph on the highway... I stayed at 60 (which took much moral restraint) all the way to the Tacoma dome.. So, is he getting rid of the Jeep in favor of the Landy?

How about an '89 Classic? That way he can get the Rover bug right off without having to go through the standard Disco phase first!

if ben's idea doesn't pan out, scott also (on top of all the other stuff he does) provides a car buying service. he can access auto auctions that aren't open to the public.
