I have been on a search for some more nice LED flash lights for a while now. I bought two smallish ones a while back at Costco that I really fell in love with, but they were kind of spendy. If I remember they were about $36 for the two. I have been looking for a nice solid aluminum bodied flashlight that can be held in the teeth when needed. I have been checking on e-bay and amazon and back at Costco. I just found a deal in a three pack. They are three small (approx. 6" long) LED flashlights powered by 3 AAA batteries each (which are included by the way). The lights are weather and impact resistant and have two settings bright and brighter. Supposedly put out 40 lumens. Anyway nice lights for $14 for 3.

Just thought I would pass this along in case someone else was on the hunt.

I think I saw those last week, but I didn't look close. I'll have to check them out next time.

The Costco flashlights I really have liked are the solar ones they sold last year. They are LED, they run off of two batteries, one solar, one a long life storage battery thing. They float in water, and I've actually done what they say they can do -- I threw it against the concrete to watch it bounce -- still worked, still floated. I keep one in each car in a spot where it will get just enough sun to stay charged. I've bought two sets of them, and I plan on buying more if I see them again.

Craig,

I bought those lights at Costco as well and am very happy with their brightness, especially for $14. I was on Costco's website yesterday (I'm a Costco nut) and they had a pair of lights that are supposedly 360 lumen as their deal of the day. So, I ordered them since their regular price is $99 and it was reduced to $69. If I don't like it, I can always return it. Gotta love Costco!

Here's a link to the ones I ordered, looks like it's back to the $99 price:

Law enforcement grade...interesting phrase. Don't know any officers but i have never seen them on CSI, NYPD or NCIS. They all use these little tiny things that fit in the pocket.  Things that make you go   Hmmmm.

I received the LifeGear flashlights I ordered on Sunday today and am impressed with them. The switch options are low, high and strobe. I compared it to my LED Maglite and the low brightness is slightly dimmer than the Maglite. The high brightness is amazing, it definitely outshines the Maglite! The strobe is great too. Like stated in my earlier post, I purchased it on sale for $76 and that included 2 day shipping with tax and I definitely believe it was worth it. It would still be worth it for the currnet $99 price. These flashlights appear very well built and they fit in the hand better than my Maglite does due to the fact that the body is slimmer since it takes 3 size C batteries as opposed to my Maglite taking 3 size D batteries.
