Saw this on another thread and followed it around to Discovery stuff
Wander around the rest of the site and you'll see some neat ideas for Defenders and Toyotas.
Just daydreaming....

looks great if you are dedicating an entire Disco to 1 person x-)

I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you over the noise of how awesome I am.

Nah, you can fit two in there.

They also had a replacement seat for the Defender that might work in the back of the Disco.

It folds out and makes the same sleeping pace

I like it, but it does take a lot of room. Not to meantion the best night sleep I get just on the ground anyway, so why would I want to make a bed in the truck?

My set up is comeing along in the RRC, and the set up I had for the Disco was almost done when I sold it. I was looking to do some very simple, cheap, but effective things to create a vehicle that could easily go out for two-three days without stop.

One of the early ideas I had was to use a marine type fuel can on the roof rack -- they are low profile, they have vac seals, they usually have gauges, they can be bought with integrated strap systems to hold them down, and they can be left on top of the rack even while fueling because they have hand-pump lines that can be directed right into the fuel filler on the truck.

Sometimes you can only park on cement.
Yes, this setup isn't for everyone. I didn't mean to imply that. It's just an option some might like. Something like this would obviously not work in a RRC with the lower roof.

Anyway, the part I like most about something like this is the integrated desk plus the ability to put a stove in top part if you wanted, either to store or cook.

Here's a picture of one in a 110 with the original middle row and the original jump seats left in the back

well, you start by limiting the stuff you take and then get creative.
