I  Benchmade. They are based in Oregon City, OR; unfortunately they don't offer tours or the next meet and greet would be there. I need another one.

Yep, super secret.  So secret in fact that they never made one.  It's the Benchmade 556 Mini-Griptilian serrated locking knife.

I'm  still on the edge regarding the serrated portion.  It's the first time I've owned a pocket knife with a serrated edge.  It will be nice to have when cutting rope, but they are tough to sharpen.  I believe I read in the manual that Benchmade won't even sharpen the serrated section if you send it in.  Still w/ Benchmade quality it should be a while before I need to service it.

You can get the serrated portion sharpened at a decent knife shop. I don't know why Benchmade won't sharpen the serrations-seems kinda weird. I too prefer the simplicity of a non-serrated blade but the serrations do come in handy.

Those are nice knives too.

There are some serrated sharpening stone kits available if you want to sharpen it yourself.  Just takes time & patience and after doing a serrated blade yourself once you might find you're less apt to abuse the edge of your knife or to let just anyone borrow it.

Got mine today in the mail. What a joke!

Can't argue with free, I guess.

I got mine as well, little smaller than I expected, but fits on the keychain nicely. I think I will use it about 5 times, ever. But yes, hard to argue with free!

Mine showed up too.  You guys did check your prize numbers before ditching the letter right?

I wasn't even close to a winning code. bleh.

A lot smaller than I expected but with a name like Micron...  The part that really gets me is that it's made in China especially after that survey lol.  Free is free however and I'm sure I'll find a use for it sometime.

I was also not even close to a winning code, but free prizes are good anyway. I used mine to cut up some boxes last night so I could fit them in the recycle bin.
