Anyone get a chance to get out this weekend, explore, and enjoy the sunshine?

Yes, went over to Leavenworth via Blewett Pass, I saw lots of FS roads off the pass, without GPS wasn't going to venture to far off the road, is it a good place to explore otherwise?

Yep, it is a great place to explore. That area is also full of 4x4 trails and is the "Liberty Area" we almost did a run at a couple of weeks ago. Some of the area closes to vehicle travel on October 15th, including the 4x4 trails.... green dots/diamonds are your friend.

I literally went overland and oversea via Dehaviland "Beaver" floatplane from Kenmore airs Lake Union terminal to Stretch Island in the South Puget sound for a quick swim and then over to South Hood Canal for lunch!

...My cousin is a pilot at Kenmore air and had nothing better going on, NICE!

Below are some pics (Mt. Baker over Greenlake, Downtown Seattle over Bainbridge flying South, and "The Brothers" of the Olympics from over the Kitsap Pennisula

Today (Monday) after work (in Skykomish) headed up the Foss river road to check out the view on this awesome extremely clear day! I got an amazing view of what I belived to be Glacier peak, looking North back up the Beckler river drainage.

You need to resize them before you post them.  No bigger than 800x800.  E.g. 640x480, 800x600, or 480x640, 600x800.

Alternatively, if you use the picture insert button on the toolbar, you can specify the display size.  See the FAQ for information on how to use the picture insert button.  The biggest item is to be sure and create an upload directory with your name where you keep your photos.

Checked out several trails around Lake Tahoe and up over Sonora Pass with a buddy from the Bay Area. His son just started college in SLT so we thought we’d pay him a visit; the kid has a season pass to Heavenly and a nicely sorted YJ in the garage - not sure how he’ll get his homework done. Anyway, nice country, that.

Got back from camping over near Hoodsport. Did some clamming and fishing. Awesome weather. I'm going to miss this weather, but looking forward to the snowy season...I lived in Vegas all last year so I actually do like it when it rains. Mostly
