I had three days off and nice weather too, so I met a friend in the mid-Columbia Gorge area for some railroad photography and camping. I found a nice free camping spot at Avery, just west of Wishram. it appears to be Army Corp of Engineers land and is signed with a limit of 14 days camping and no fees. It even included a portapotty with paper inside...

I still have to track down the location names for a couple of the photos.

Related to my thread here on NWOS, there is a photo of the van with newly painted black wheels, but the sun angle is such that you can't see the wheels much at all...  Need to take a better photo soon.
