While visiting family in Coer d' Alene for Thanksgiving, my brother and I took a little drive. We drove up hwy 20 north from Newport WA, then took county rd. 3521/ fs rd. 1934 which became fs rd. 308 as we headed toward Idaho. There was a few inches of snow in the higher elevations. Did a little hiking here and there. We hooked up with hwy 57 in Idaho near Preist Lake. This is an area I'd like to come back to and explore in the summer. Lots of camping/ exploring potential.

You can edit the post and delete these attachments, then attach the resized ones... or just leave it.  There are more important things in life to worry about afterall.

Steven, We started our loop in Newport, which is about an hour north of Spokane. You can just go up hwy 2 from Spokane. We headed up from my brother's place in Coeur d' Alene. From Newport we went northeast on st. hwy 20, then crossed the Pend Oreille River at Usk. From there, we drove north on Le Clerc Rd. then veered northeast on East Fork Le Clerc Creek Rd., then to fs rd 1934. There are a lot of forest service roads in the area. We just happened to take that one.
