Have you guys checked this out?  It is exactly what I had hoped to have time to code up for the NW Overland Society when I first started the site.  Alas, real work got in the way.  It is a perfect way to share trips.

I took some time today to post some of the tracks I had on hand.   This thing is pretty fun once you start using it.  It has some querks like changing the geotag on a photo, but it's pretty good.   I also like that you can imbed the map in a blog or forum post.  Mouse over the dots to see photos

Everytrail.com has a app that will let you plug in your garmin and it'll upload the track for you. :) of course, that's just to their site

Which part are you getting hung up on?  Transferring it from the device to Mapsource or getting it out of Mapsource into a GPX file?
