I am looking into some software to cover British Columbia. Currently I am using National Geographic Topo for Oregon/Washington but it doesn't appear that (or I can't find) there is a mappack for BC. Just looking for ideas on what other people are using. Thanks Ryan

I realize that this is a couple of months old but try backroads mapbook digital. they have maps that plug right into Garmin devices and are quite detailed.

Thanks for the replys. My question was mainly for the trip I took up a week ago to participate in the Roverlanders offroad challenge. I ended up buying the etopo maps with the MemoryMap software. It really is poor in comparison to what the USGS maps are. They only go to 50k and the USGS goes to 24k. It worked for what I needed I'm just not impressed with it. I think the backroads mapbook would be next one to try...

Ryan, Take a look at the DeLorme Topo 9 software too. I believe it now covers Canada besides the U.S.

Can anyone confirm Delorme? According to the website you have to buy and download the usgs maps seperately and same for the canadian maps (which are the exact same maps I already have it's just with different software)
