Picked up an SD rack! Working on the flooring, I'll post pics of the floor when I'm done. Sooooo glad to have an SD back. If you have one that you don't use -- DON'T sell it!! You will regret it!! Loan it out to someone, or store it.

This is one of the few things that I have missed by selling the various trucks I've had, the SD rack has been the single most useful upgrade I've had on the seven different Rovers I've owned.

When I looked at Dustin's on the trail the other day, it looked a lot taller (on the floor) than that one does. The SD seems lower than what Dustin's looked like... maybe Dustin could measure up from the roof to the bottom of the floor of the rack so we could get a comparison?

Almost done with the first half of the flooring.

I can do it when I get back home tomorrow.....up in Spokane today....amazing area up here around the Colville (sp) National Forest. Want to come back with the Rovers. Passed by Scott Williams new place of work....Land Rover Spokane.

That one that is listed on CL is the same rack minus the 6" or so side rails that are on mine. I will meaure and post once I am back home.

OK, taking a break from my homework to post a few new shots of the rack and all.

I like this flooring, it's light weight, maybe 10 lbs, it allows you to walk on it, it allows you to tie down anywhere you want, and it lets a lot of light in the sunroofs.  It is 4" livestock fencing.  Comes in 4x8 foot sections, and only costs about $20.  I just used some rustoleum spray to get it black, it sticks well enough.  I trimmed it with bolt cutters, then used a grinder to shave it down and prep it.

The lights are not wired yet, but I do think I like the look of them enough to keep them, so maybe I'll get around to that after a while.
