Hey Ike,  I have used a mag-lite to reach in from the top and give it some whacks.  works pretty well as a whacker extension.  It was an LED model so oddly, it still works.

Mag lites are a great tool and pretty durable.  Plus they are cheap if you foul them beyond use.  I have heard of a guy dropping the batteries out of a 3cell and using it as an extension on a ratchet for leverage.  Sort of an emergency breaker bar.

I usually have 2 larger ones in the truck, plus some mini's.  I used to carry the lithium powered small flashlights but the new LED stuff is amazing on the mag-lites.  I'll save the litium ones for tactical use now.

Funny thing - I had 2 claw hammers in the truck, and both my MAG's were tucked away at home. :D

That is crazy. Did you go out and buy a lottery ticket?

The best I ever got even when the truck was bone stock was about 18mpg.

That was downhill with a tailwind both ways, right? Did you verify that your odometer is working correctly first?

Could you see an outline of the Virgin Mary in the dust on the dashboard? Because obviously, this is a miracle. Otherwise, it's time to have Capri do your calculations.

21 is the highest I ever saw in our '98 disco. We would get 19 frequently on the highway. :)

clearly, it's a device used to lubricate the interfluxen oilinator that is responsible for the fabulous gas mileage I'm enjoying on the highway.
