Well thought Id show some progess on Nates trailer. Tailgate is almost finished up just need to clean up the tailgate. Ive been waiting over a week for the hitch pipe to come in at carlson steel (you can only hear a few more days so many times) I know hardware sales sells pre done ones but there like $60 for some pipe with a sleeve and a hole in it.

Mike,

What did you start with, and what modifications are you making to it? Am I remembering incorrectly... I thought it came with a tailgate?

If you look in the first couple pics thats the start the M101s never came with a tailgate. Not many of the m416s did either but some of the early bantams did. basically the shape of these military trailers was becasue they were designed to float during river crossings. Not sure Ive ever seen someone try and float one but never the less becasue they were supposed to float they didnt have tailgate Basically putting a tailgate in as well as a trailer hitch for a bike rack. Might end up doing some other stuff like locking points for gas cans ect... nothing to fancy.

I'm totally impressed!

After 35+ years running on four wheels, I've gone to the dark side and am playing on two.
