Depends, actually, some primer seals, you have to check the specific paint you are using.

Now that it's primed, rattle can a nice base coat of something to match your vehicle. It will probably be that colour for a long time anyway.

I was reading the can and it said suitable for outdoor furniture and equipment...so I don't know. I'm sure I'll just leave it for now with the plan on color matching it to the jeep one of these days...

Benny.....Did you use the spray or roll on Herculiner? How much is it for a can? I'm thinking of putting it on my rocker panels.

It's "herculiner" a kit I bought at carquest auto parts. You roll it on, pretty nasty stuff. www.acehardware.com/product/index.jsp

I recently decided to upgrade from using the annoying 1lb propane tanks for my stove, grill and tent heater to a 20lb tank. I was looking at ways to mount the tank onto my trailer and was about to give up when I noticed I had an unused milk crate just sitting there. I decided to see if the tank would fit and  wouldn't you know it was an exact fit like it was made for the tank. I bolted it to the trailer frame using the existing tub mounts and drilled a hole in the tounge to bolt the front part of the crate down. All in all..Free mod! For now I think I'll just ratchet strap the tank in until I can figure out a more secure way..also if anybody has a black milk crate they don't want...

I LOVE MILK CRATES!

When I was younger I worked at a grocery store and much of my furniture was milk crates, Closet organization, bookshelves, kitchen storage, etc.  I moved a lot then so it was always easy to just take them down and stack them on top of each other to move, pre packed.  I miss the days of moving that way.

Nice find Benny!, Looks like you need one more for the other side.

I have found one little miscalculation with the milk crate mod...when the trailer is hooked to the Jeep, I can't open the tailgate all the way. It opens just short enough so I cant even raise the glass as well..If i think about it when I park, I can cock the trailer a little and it'll work fine..

Cool..I'm loading the trailer today and I'm amazed at how much camping crap I actually have. Our plans are to just load the trailer with our stuff and just park it in the garage until we use it. That'll free up some shelf space so we can cram more crap in the garage...
