In order to do some APRS compatability testing with Overland Navigator, I'm considering switching from my current radio to a Kenwood D710.  I'm concerned that the face is too big to mount in a DII where I have my Icom mounted now.  Anyone have a photo of a D710 mounted in their vehicle?  Any chance you could take the headunit and hold it in the area just forward of the CDL shifter to see how it might fit?

Thanks,

Craig

I'll take some pics of mine tomorrow.  I basically removed the factory cupholders, built a bracket and mounted it directly underneath the climate control.  Everything clears perfectly.  Plus I had room for the GPS mounted behind the faceplate.

Thanks Larry.

I think you might have posted a pic in one of the netbook threads... I'll do see if I can find it.
