This ARRL CDROM looks very good.  I think I'll look into adding the repeaters as searchable POI in Overland Navigator.

I thought I knew how repeaters worked, and conceptually, I was right. So I figured I'd better read up on what they actually are. I found this document, and it does a good job of showing the concept, as well as quickly giving simple details on how they work.
