I love the idea of a flying car in the garage. But don't like the idea of having the TSA guy hanging out in the garage and patting me down everyday before my commute.

i wonder if they could make it so you cant activate it until it has been registered. that way if some one does what that guy did they can pin point it and keep it from happening repeatedly

Considering how much paperwork you have to fill out for a fishing license it blows me away that you can simply buy a rescue beacon/spot device and not have the sale registered.
The one saving grace I guess is that anyone just driving around with it on will eventually get tracked down and making it more difficult or expensive to own a locator just means more people won't bother with them.
