Alert | | Well I got to try it out this weekend and I love it. I found that breakfast sandwhiches that would usually take 2 minutes took 3 and a half minutes, so it is not as strong as a home microwave but still worked great. I cooked 8 meals in it hooked up to a dedicated battery with no charging connected. I have net checked the battery after but it had no problems when i was using it. The ease of prep, cooking, and cleaning was awesome as I had to be out of camp at 8AM. This will definately be part of my morning routine on multi day trail runs where packing up quick means I can sleep in longer. | |

Alert | | So as a follow up, I love this little microwave. I know some folks think it is totally wrong but it does make cooking a hot meal really easy, especially for breakfasts. No dishes, and very little space taken in the fridge for the meals. plus the little "beep, beep, beep" gives yuo a sense of home when on the trail. | |
